Witch City Wicks is seeking a part-time retail key holder for our Salem shop location. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong work ethic, customer service skills and the ability to engage with the public. We are looking for someone who is flexible and available 1-2 weekdays, but primarily with weekend availability.
*Retail experience and weekend availability ABSOLUTELY required.
POSITION: PT key-holder 12-24 hours/wk
Salary Negotiable: Salary dependent on past job experience
Job Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Greets and receives customers in a welcoming manner
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Perform open & closing procedures
- Manage the alarm system, including setting and disarming it
- Respond to and serve customers by answering questions & helping them select products
- Operate POS and process payments by cash, credit and debit cards or gift cards
- Be aware of customer needs and loss prevention
- Cleaning, maintaining shop displays and keeping the shop up to high standards
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skill
- Knowledgeable on our candles, fragrances and other retail products
- Knowledge of Salem area restaurants, shopping, experiences a plus
