Policies

Payment

We accept Shopify Payments and PayPal. Shopify Payments is integrated with our store and able to accept all major credit cards. Your item will not ship until your payment has cleared.

Ordering

Please make sure your order is complete and correct before finalizing it. If you submit your order and need to change an item in that order, it is our policy to cancel the original transaction so that you can repurchase to make the correction.

Shipping

Our processing times before shipping can take 3-5 business days. All orders ship the United States Postal Service. You will receive a tracking notification once your item has been shipped. Domestic orders over 13 oz ship USPS Priority Mail. Orders under 13 oz ship First Class Mail and will take slightly longer.

**During high volume sales months (pre-Halloween and Christmas) we do our best to ship within our normal window, but it's possible the schedule could slip to 5-7 business days to process orders before shipping.

International orders can take up to 2-3 weeks from shipping date. **Please note: international customers are responsible for any customs fees and/or tariffs depending on your country.

Damaged items

If items in your order have been damaged during shipping please send us a photo of the broken items so that we can file and insurance claim and we'll replace them or  refund the cost of the item.

Refunds and Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded.

To be eligible for a return, the customer must make arrangements with us before sending any items back. An item must be unused and in the same condition that it was received, in the original packaging. Customers are responsible for paying for shipping costs for returning any item. All shipping costs are non-refundable, refunds will be given for the item cost only.

Candle accessories (wax tart melters) are FINAL SALE.

LOST, STOLEN or DELAYED ORDERS

Once an item is shipped we do not have any more information than you do. If there is a problem with your shipment, please contact your local post office and give them your tracking number.

Witch City Wicks is not responsible for stolen packages or any lost items that cannot have the insurance claimed (tracking labels that read "Delivered"). We are also not responsible for errors made by USPS. If your item is delayed past its "estimated arrival date" it is out of our control. We suggest filing a complaint with the USPS. A domestic package must be missing for 21 days with an incomplete tracking record before we can file an insurance claim and resend the order.
