Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Seasonal Retail Associates to join our team during our busiest October season. As a Seasonal Retail Associate, you will play a key role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers, assisting with sales, and maintaining the store's aesthetic and organization. We are looking for someone who is available 1-2 weekdays, but primarily with weekend availability.

*Experience in the retail or service industry and weekend availability ABSOLUTELY required.

This temporary position has you working in our busy shop at the height of exciting and fun Salem tourist season. This will be a fast-paced time of year and we're looking for someone with a positive mental attitude who can have some fun with the whirlwind pace.


   •   Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, providing product information and recommendations.

   •   Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system, handling cash and card payments.

   •   Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and tidying up the store front.

   •   Engage with customers to build rapport, answer questions, and address any concerns or inquiries.

   •   Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting colleagues, communicating effectively, and working collaboratively.

   •   Assist with seasonal promotions, events, and merchandising initiatives to drive sales and enhance the customer experience.

   •   Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and retail best practices.

   •   Continuously seek opportunities to learn about our products, stay updated on promotions, and provide exceptional customer service.


   •   Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role within the retail or hospitality industry.

   •   Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

   •   Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks as needed.

   •   Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions.

   •   Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during peak seasonal periods.

   •   Passion for candles, home decor, and the unique offerings of Witch City Wicks.

   •   Positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to contribute to a team-oriented work culture.
