Witch City Wicks is a small candle, home and gift shop looking for a part-time retail keyholder to join the WCW team in our Salem location. This is a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment, especially during Salem’s busy seasons. You’ll meet visitors from all over the world, help fragrance lovers find their signature scent, and be part of a woman owned, home grown brand. Position is part-time, 15-30 hours per week.

As a keyholder, working in partnership with the Store Manager, you will:

• Help customers in-store (and sometimes over the phone)
• Learn our fragrances and products so you can make spot-on recommendations
• Create a welcoming, memorable experience for every single person who walks through the door
• Use our POS system to ring up purchases accurately and efficiently
• Exercise precise cash handling practices and accountability
• Opening and/or closing the shop and securing the space
• Keep the store clean, organized, and visually on point (merchandising skills are a bonus!)
• Process and merchandise inbound shipments
• Jump in wherever needed

• Are dependable and take the responsibility of this role seriously (you’ll have keys for a reason)
• Have strong attention to detail and notice the little things others might miss
• Enjoy learning and can retain product knowledge about scents and ingredients
• Work well with a team and communicate clearly
• Take pride in being punctual for shifts
• Comfortable lifting up to 20 lbs
• Are available on weekends (this is a must)

Previous retail experience is preferred.
